Popular Ghanaian journalist Saddick Adams also known as Sports Obama has revealed that the Ghana Football Association has decided to form a four men technical team to handle the Black Stars of Ghana’s crucial game against the Green Eagles of Nigeria.
According to the head of Sports of Accra-based Angel Fm the Executive Council of the football association have decided to appoint former Tottenham Hotspurs coach Chris Hughton, Borussia Dortmund’s Otto Addo, FIFA and CAF coaching instructor and former coach of Asante Kotoko coach Didi Dramani and Aston Villa’s youth team coach George Boateng as the technical team to lead Ghana to win the home and away games that will see to it that Ghana qualifies to the World Cup tournament in Qatar.
With the list yet to be approved by the government, Saddick stated that, Chris Hughton will be the Technical Advisor for the technical team whiles Otto Addo leads as the Head coach with Didi Dramani and George Boateng as first and second assistant coaches respectively.
With no mention of a goalkeepers coach, former Ghana international and captain Richard Kingson will be maintained as the goalkeepers coach.
Ghana is expected to face Nigeria in a home and away game to decide who makes it to the World Cup in the last weekend of march,2022.
