Ghana’s Mohammed Kudus has been fined £60,000 for his on field misconduct in West Ham United’s Premier League game against Tottenham Hotspurs.
The talented midfielder aside the fine will also not be part of West Ham United’s next two games as his three match ban have been extended to five matches.
The Ghanaian is expected to be back to Hammers match day squad against Leicesteron December 3.
West Ham United in reacting to the news stated;
West Ham United has today (Wednesday) been notified by the Football Association of charges relating to our Premier League fixture against Tottenham Hotspur on Saturday 19 October 2024.
The outcome of the hearing of The FA’s Independent Panel is as follows:
- Mohammed Kudus – additional two-match suspension; fine of £60,000.
- Club – fine of £30,000.
Whilst the Club is disappointed with the outcome, it respects the process that has been undertaken.
West Ham United will be making no further comment.
