Information kgnewsonline.com gathers is that the head of the Catholic Church, Pope Francis has disclosed his willingness and readiness to work together with the Federal Government of Nigeria to end insecurity in the country and sub-Saharan Africa.
The Pope made this submission when he received a letter of credence from the Nigerian Ambassador to the Holy See, Ambassador Paul Oga Adikwu. The Vatican City issued a statement where the Pope promised to offer his assistance to the plight of Nigerians and help put a stop to the insecurity.
Vatican City said. “The Holy Father, Pope Francis, expressed readiness to collaborate with Nigeria to overcome the security challenges currently witnessed in the sub-Saharan region.
“Pope Francis appreciates the effort of President Muhammadu Buhari-led administration to combat security challenges witnessed in some parts of the country.
“The Holy Father said the problem is not just a Nigerian problem, but a global one, saying he will personally be involved in praying for Nigeria to overcome the situation,”
Nigeria, Africa's most populated country for sometime now is experiencing unprecedented economic and security instability leading the west African state onto it's knees.
