After holding election on the 28th day of March, 2021 to elect new executives , the old students association of Suhum Senior High Technical School is set to hold an inauguration ceremony to swear in it's executives.
Happening on 8th May, 2021 at the School's assembly hall at 10 am , nine newly elected executives will be the opportunity to lead the association.
Amongst the newly elected executives is preacher, tutor, philanthropist and a parliamentary candidate in the 2020 general election Rev. Kweku Addo who is going to be the vice president of the association.

Suhum Senior High Technical School is a second cycle educational institution established in 1963 under the distinguished leadership of Ghana’s first President, Osagyefo Dr Kwame Nkrumah. Being the first Senior High Technical School to be established in the eastern part of Ghana, the school start with a student population of 71 and has grown over the years and has a student population of 1,500, including 250 girls, and runs five programmes namely; General Arts ( four options), General Science (two options), Visual Arts (two options), Business (two options) and Technical (four options).
Initially, it was a boys’ school but due to the educational reforms of 1987, it became a co-educational institution in 1991.
With discipline, integrity and quality education being high on the school's priority list, the School can boast of producing some of Ghana's honourable men and women and some notable old students of Sutesco are; Prof. Kwasi Opoku Amankwa(Director General Of Ghana Education Service) Dr. Eric Ofori (School of Health and Allied Sciences, University of Ghana); Prof. Ofosu Anim (Dean, School of Agriculture, University of Ghana, Legon); Prof. V.P.Y. Gadzekpo (Ex-President, Central University College and the current President of Data Link Institute), David Asante-Apeatu(Fmr. Inspector General Of Ghana Police Service) and many others.
