I will stop music if Okraku Mantey is appointed Deputy Minister Of Tourism - Shatta Wale

 

The conversation of veteran music producer and radio DJ Mark Okraku Mantey's appointment as the deputy minister of the Ministry Of Tourism , Arts and Culture in President Akufo Addo's next government have started gaining grounds as some prominent entertainment industry people have added their voices to the conversation.

Okraku Mantey who served as the interim president of the creative art council of the Ministry of Tourism,Arts and Culture in President Akufo Addo's first term in governmennt is one of the few people who have been tipped to deputize Mohammed Awal the minister for the next four year.

Speaking on the appointment of a deputy minister of Tourism Arts and Cuture, Shatta Wale in a rant on social media stated that , he disapproves of Okraku Mantey's appointment .

In a video on his facebook page the '1DON' hitmaker said;

" I will only Agree if Mark Okraku Mantey is appointed as Minister or Deputy Minister For Nonsense.

 

If the government appoints him as the deputy minister for tourism and creative art, I will stop music and go for forms to become an independent candidate. "

 

 Unlike Shatta Wale, other top industry people like 3 Music awards boss and NDC's spokesperson Sadiq Abdulai , Franky5, Andy Dosty and many others including Prince Tsegah have all thrown their support behind the music producer who produced songs for Lord Kenya, Daasebre Dwamena, Lucky Mensah and others.
