Founder of the International Godsway Church, Daniel Obinim, has announced an end to the public issues surrounding his marriage after receiving what he described as a warning from the Holy Spirit.
The self-styled pastor told members of his congregation that, in obedience to the spiritual directive, he has taken down all videos and rebuttals related to the matter.
Obinim explained that he is letting bygones be after reflecting on the emotional toll the situation has taken on him and his family.
According to him, he regrets allowing the matter to escalate publicly and expressed disappointment in himself for the pain and attention it generated.
He also apologised to anyone who may have been disappointed by his actions.
The move effectively brings an end to the series of public exchanges and commentary he had previously shared regarding his marital issues, which had generated significant reactions on social media.
