Former TV3 sports journalist Thierry Nyann has publicly criticized some staff of TV3 Ghana following rumours surrounding his departure from the Media General network.
The experienced broadcaster took to social media to respond to claims circulating within the station that he resigned because certain privileges and benefits had been withdrawn. Nyann strongly denied the allegations, describing them as baseless gossip and expressing disappointment that such conversations were allegedly happening among colleagues instead of focusing on work.
According to Nyann, the speculation about his exit from the station was misleading and did not reflect the real reasons behind his resignation. He insisted that his decision to leave was purely personal and part of moving on in life, stressing that he had actually attempted to resign on two previous occasions before his departure was finally accepted.
The former sports presenter also urged those spreading the rumours to verify facts before making assumptions about his career decisions.
In his strongly worded response, Nyann expressed frustration over what he described as unnecessary gossip within the organization.
He called on critics to focus on their work and stop spreading misinformation about him. His remarks quickly attracted attention on social media, sparking discussions within media circles about workplace gossip and the circumstances surrounding his exit from the station where he served for several years.

“I have been told there are gossips within TV3 that privileges were taken away from me and that is why I left the company. It’s so sad that there are still stupid people who have nothing better to do with their lives than to sit in their offices and gossip. Work harder and stop the hateful attitude. Aren’t you tired???
Ask your bosses!!! I resigned not because privileges were taken away from me BUT because we all move on in life. They stopped me twice from resigning! I resigned TWICE!!! People should just learn to accept facts and stop being stupid. GROW UP NKWASIAFUO.
