Manchester United manager Erik Ten Hag has expressed disappointment with his team's performance against Manchester City in this season Manchester derby.
Losing six goals to three at Man City's etihad stadium, the Dutch man's team saw the in form Erling Haaland and Phil Foden score three goals each for Man City and Anthony Martial and summer signing Antony also scoring three goals.
Speaking to the post BBC after a performance he describes as a luck of belief, Erik Ten Hag said his team were undisciplined at following rules , an act which is not acceptable.
"It's quite simple, it's a lack of belief. When you don't believe on the pitch then you can't win games, that is unacceptable. We get undisciplined at following rules and you get hammered, that's happened today.
On the positives from the game, the former Ajax manager said he can't think about it for now because he and his team have let their fans down.
"In this moment I can't think about positives. We let our fans down, we let ourselves down and we're hugely disappointed.

"At half-time we changed things and we changed attitude. We saw a different #mufc after half-time and we scored goals, we created some more. On the ball we were more brave, we came in the opponent's half and we scored three goals", he added.

Speaking about Manchester City and Erling Haaland's performance said his team's bad performance gave Man City and their goal hungry striker the freedom to humiliate Manchester United.
"All the credit to City, but it's nothing to do with City, our performance was not good. It had to do with the belief as individuals and as team", he told the BBC.
