'I was young and ignorant' - Kidi apologises for his inappropriate & unkind tweets

 

 Award winning afrobeats singer Kidi has been trending for sometime now for some controversial tweets he tweeted in the past.

Described as inappropriate and unkind by kidi himself in a statement , the VGMA winner has finally apologized to his followers and people who have been affected by his comments in the past.

Admitting to not knowing and understanding the implication and consequences of the words in his tweets prior to becoming a celebrity, the 'touch it' singer says he is "extremely regretful of these actions and how they affected the parties involved"

In the statement posted on his tweeted page, it read;

"Years ago, when i was young and ignorant and didn't understand the implications and consequences of my word, I tweeted things that were inappropriate and unkind . As I mature, I came to  be extremely regretful of these actions and how they affected the parties involved. I want to apologise again to everyone again for the statements I made, and use this to remind us all to be mindful of the things we say and how they affect people. Let's be kind to eachother."
