Metro Tv’s Bridget Otoo got married in a private ceremony in Takoradi and the ceremony has got a lot of people talking about the outspoken journo who prior to her marriage said she wanted a man who knew how to cook.
Well, she didn’t get a chef as a husband but a dzata cement plug who does not know how to cook, not even rice, says the news presenter who is also a cement dealer.
In her words, her fresh-faced husband has no culinary skills and does not know how to wash as well.
She jovially made the statement after Reggae musician and on-air personality Blakk Rasta asked whether her husband knows how to cook and wash, referencing a post Bridget made a few years ago when she stated in a tweet that the man that she would marry must be able to know how to do the aforementioned.
In that particular post which was obviously made in a jest, Bridget who many believe has a soft spot for the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) stated in the post dated December 5, 2021, thus;
“I’m looking for a Ghanaian man, marriageable material who can cook and clean 24/7 to marry.”
Shortly after their marriage, Blakk Rasta revisited the post and asked Bridget if her husband can wash and cook.
“I hope @Bridget_Otoo ‘s husband can WASH and COOK. Else.. Catering school would help… I wish you success, bro..”, Blakk tweeted.
In response, Bridget wrote;
‘He can’t cook, not even rice. Sponsor my cooking lessons … 😂’
