Dr. Prosper Narteh Ogum Apologises To Kotoko Fans After President's Cup Defeat

 


The coach of Asante Kotoko Sporting Club, Dr Prosper Narteh Ogum has apologized to the Asante Kotoko fans after failing to win this year's edition of the President's cup, a ceremonial match organised to honor the siting president of Ghana.

 Accra Hearts Of Oak 's Patrick Razak's 88th solo counter attack goal left Kumasi Asante Kotoko Sc fans disappointed as their rivals took home the trophy of the Ghana League Clubs Association(GHALCA) organised President's cup.



In reacting to the defeated he suffered the well respected coach who despite failing to win the trophy received a lot of applauds from the Porcupine Tertiary fans{ a group of Asante Kotoko fans in the various universities} took to his twitter page to apologize to his fans for disappointing them.

In his apology note which receive a lot of reaction from social media users mostly Asante Kotoko fans ,Dr Prosper Narteh Ogum who is also a sports psychologist and a lecturer at the University Of Cape Coast wrote;

sorry we couldn't win the President's Cup. Your support of the team has been exceptional this season. Thank you Kotoko supporters We shall bounce back

 

Asante Kotoko is in poll position to the this year's Ghana Premier League competition .
