 American engineer and NASA astronaut of the class of 2013, Christina Koch has revealed that she studied at University of Ghana, Legon, about 20 years ago and that experience has changed her life.

Christina described her time at the university back in 1999 studying Spaceflight as positive, life-changing, perspective-deepening experience.

 a NASA astronaut of the class of 2013 , Christina Koch received Bachelor of Science degrees in Electrical Engineering and Physics and a Master of Science in Electrical Engineering from North Carolina State University.

On March 14, 2019, she launched to the International Space Station as a Flight Engineer on Expedition 5960 and 61. On October 18, 2019, Koch and Jessica Meir were the first women to participate in an all-female spacewalk.
