The president of Ghana His excellency Nana Akuffo Addo has spoken to Cnn on the issues Ghana is facing currently and what his government is doing to solve them.
According to the president who is of the firm that his 'Ghana Beyond Aid' agenda is a possibility, the issues in Ghana which needs immediate attention after covid-19 and its issues are Fighting corruption, fixing the economy and illegal mining which is popularly called galamsey.
He stated that “Our self-reliance is absolutely critical in the ability to survive the challenges in the future.” Adding that a lot has been done to tackle corruption problem in Ghana and Ghana is doing its best to fight it as he is satisfied with the progress so far.
In reacting to the video some Ghanians including the #fixthecountry online protestors are saying they are not happy with the president response to their cry as they claim he is trying to make the situation seem calm and being attended to which according to them is not the case.
