Ghanaian social media users have reacted to what they describe as a poor performance of Ghana's Black Stars in a friendly match against west African neighbors.
The Black Stars who lost 3 goals to null to it's Malian counterparts received a lot of criticism from Ghanaians who were of the views that Ghana deserved a lot from the team who have being chasing the African Cup Of Nation for almost four decades now.
Blaming the coach, CK Akonnor , some notable Ghanaians like Chief Seidu Adamu, an outspoken sports journalist and editor of 442gh.com have questioned the rational behind the ex-Black Stars captain's decision to call players playing for second division team in europe. Using CK Akonnor's statement of his Ghana team playing like the Black Stars of 1978, criticized his tactics, player selection and even his coaching CV stating that first black football to captain a German club is an amateur .
Those who took on the players on the field also criticized the sloppy attitude of the players stating that most of them were roasted by the Malians.

@flexkgermain:CK Akunnor should rather be the assistant coach of the black stars, he has no track record to be handed the main job, his CV is too amateur. Black stars shouldn’t be a place for experiment. We are hungry for success.
@chiefseiduadamu:In 1978, no member of the Black Stars were playing in Second Division
