Fameye Receives Award From Dr. Bawumia As Ghana Police Honour His Parents

The Ghana Police Headquarters on Friday held its annual get-together, known as the West African Security Services Association (WASSA) at the Police Fitness and Social Centre in Accra.

The occasion which was aimed at socializing, interacting and to make merry after a lengthy mandated and hectic year work as law enforcement officers.

With Ghana’s Vice President, Dr. Mahamadu Bawumia and singer Fameye the event saw the 'Nothing I Get' singer receice a plaque in honour of his parents who served in the Police force for years but unfortunately are no more alive.

Fameye after receiving the award plaque from H.E. Mahamadu Bawumia and the Ghana Police Service took to his social media platform to express how happy he is.

In his post, the 'Speed Up' singer who is known in private life as Peter Fameye wrote;
" My hustle means a lot to the state God bless you Vice President his excellency Honourable @mbawumia and the @ghanapoliceservice this plaque means a lot to my career #speedup
