Kwesi Arthur To Charge Just GHC1 At His Christmas Concert In Kumasi

Multiple award winning Ghanaian rapper, Kwesi Arthur is about to set the biggest record in Ghana with his upcoming show in Kumasi in the Ashanti region of Ghana.

On Sunday, December 22, Kwesi Arthur will be hosting one of his biggest concerts in Kumasi with a gate fee as low as GHC1 equivalent to $0.18 as at 17th December,2019.

In an Instagram post, the 'Live Or Die' rapper Kwesi Arthur said he does not want to see a single person at home on December 22 because all roads will be leading Rattary Park for his show which only costs GHS 1 per person.

According to Kwesi Arthur, the reason why he is charging GHC1 for his Kumasi Concert is because he remembers when all he had was GHC1 note in his pocket, a dream, and patience.

"The people have been asking for it, and it's long overdue. My 2nd home away from home....KUMASI it's been too long since I returned all the love you’ve been showing me all year!!! I don't want to see a single person in their house on December 22/12/2019 it's an entire city shutdown at Rattary Park! For all my people with only a 1 cedi in their pocket right now, this one is for you! I Remember when all I had was one cedi, a dream and patience chale. This is for everyone who wants to change their life!! Let's make this one historic!!!, " the Woara hitmaker posted.

He, however, urged his fan to send him a picture of them holding their GHS 1 for the show.

"My people!!!!! send me pictures of you holding your 1 cedi for Sunday. 22/12/2019. We turn up. Let’s go," he added.
