"Better Luck Next Time".. President Akufo Addo Sends Message To The Black Stars

Chief supporter of the Ghana Black Stars President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo Addo has sent his well wishes to the Black Stars after exiting the ongoing African Cup Of Nations tournament in Egypt.

In a  Twitter post seen by kgnewsonline , President Akufo Addo whose wish was for the Black Stars to bring home the Afcon trophy after a 37 years wait shared how gutted he was by the exit of the Black Stars and wished the team the best of luck as the wait continues as Ghana hope to end the 39 years wait for the Afcon trophy in Cameroon in 2021.

"Like most Ghanaians, I am gutted by the
exit of the Black Stars at AFCON 2019. I
wish the team better luck next time. I am
confident they will bounce back even
stronger, and make all of us proud once
again. " Nana Akufo Addo posted.

The president Nana Akufo Addo was expected to be in Egypt to cheer the team to very at the final but since the team's elimination came in the round of 16 stage, the Black Stars team is expected to be in Ghana by Wednesday, 8th July, 2019 and is expected to have a new tactician and a new look in the players playing for the national team as players like Asamoah Gyan will be hanging their boots very soon.
